The Party presents Northern Soul & Motown with premier league DJ’s… Yocky (Yorkshires favourite DJ), Rob Smith (Notts), Bridgey (York), Julian Metcalfe (Bradford) and John Bradley (East Anglian Soul Weekend).

My one year anniversary is approaching.
I started broadcasting on Ace Radio on May 6th 2009. My first show on the station was a one hour “Going To A Go-Go” Motown and soul music show.
I have kept ALL the playlists from my shows here on Ace Radio so to mark the anniversary of my joining the station I will be recreating that first show by playing songs from the original playlist throughout the night.
Please join us at 8pm (UK) on May 5th 2010 to celebrate my first anniversary with Ace Radio for the best mix of Scootering sounds with some great soul tunes from the 60’s and 70’s.

Last night’s first Ace Radio party at The Greyhound Pub in Penkhull, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs was a smash hit.
This was the first time that the Ace Radio family, both presenters and listeners, had got together, and it went off without a hitch. Thanks go to Dazzle for organizing the event, which was kept a secret from the boss, Mark Alexander – imagine his surprise!

Ace Radio has taken yet another giant step forward this week as we are now streaming at 128 kb/s.
This is twice the bitrate that we have been used to and our much improved transmission quality has resulted in a much better listening experience for us all.
